Alloy Bellows Delivers B-52 Components to DLA
Cleveland, OH: July 1, 2019. For immediate release
Alloy Bellows and Precision Welding has delivered welded metal bellows for the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress fuel system to the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
The metal bellows were delivered ahead of schedule to DLA’s distribution center at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The order marks the second time Alloy Bellows has produced this component. The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) oversaw the contracting process, including extensive quality testing of the components.
DLA provides supplies to the military services and supports their acquisition of weapons, fuel, repair parts, and other materials.
